“If you’re open to growth, you’ll tend to grow”

I came across this article “If you’re open to growth, you’ll tend to grow”  on the NYtimes site and thought it had some relevant points for the recruiting field. While many recruiters may want to focus on a person’s innate talent or brilliance, i believe the lesson discussed in this article is even more important. Haven’t we all met those people, no matter how many achievements or awards,  that seek out the next challenge with renewed curiosity and passion? Who are willing to make mistakes or look stupid in order to LEARN how to best solve a specific problem? For those people who live for opportunities that help them GROW?

Yes, those are the people that you want on your team and in your company. Those are the people who make a difference in a big or small company.

Those are the type of people we like at SmashFly 🙂
